About

Hi friends!
I’m Celia Cain, PhD.

I want you to know that you are not alone and healing is possible.
You can heal your whole self: body, mind & spirit.

I can show you how.

I teach people in distress or recovering from trauma, with illness or chronic pain, to heal themselves physically, emotionally & spiritually.

When you’re in chronic pain or dealing with  a chronic illness, you forget how powerful you are. Indeed, sometimes it seems your whole life is a series of exercises in disempowerment.

But you are powerful.

I know this because…

I see you.

I see your energy and your power.

And I only attract powerful people.

That’s the first step in healing: recognizing – fully feeling – your own power.

And then I’ll teach you how to engage your superpowers for your own healing.

Yes, you can do this!

Discover who you are meant to be

You are worthy of living the fullest expression of yourself, of embracing your own core values and discovering your superpowers.

My core values are the foundation of my life, healing, and work.
They are —

Integrity

Imagine trusting yourself fully and completely and knowing the wholeness and ease that comes from aligning your life and daily actions with what you value most.

Are you willing to do the deep inner work to discover who you are, what you want, and what you are capable of?

Freedom

Imagine knowing that you are always free to make your own choices and shape your own life, no matter your circumstances and regardless of the expectations of society, culture or family.

What would you do if you trusted yourself to make the right choices? Are you willing to live free of fear and in your own power?

Joy

Imagine finding joy daily, even in the smallest things. That joy comes from within you.

How easily will you heal when you feel yourself bubbling with joy in your very existence?

Strength

Imagine the comfort of resilience, knowing that whatever you face, you know you have the capacity to handle it with ease and grace.

Who would you be if you fully invest in our own power, if you discover, deep down, who you are inside?

Beauty

Imagine seeing the beauty around you on the darkest days and recognizing the beauty of creation hidden deep within the darkest people.

How would you live your life as art, as creative expression, as an act of co-creation?

Peace

Imagine knowing that within you is all the peace of the Universe, accessible to you at any moment.

How calm will you feel when you release the expectations of others that keep you small and expand into your full power?

A little more about my story…

I’m Dr. Celia Cain, mindset coach, healer, mentor & songcatcher.

Yes, my PhD is real. It’s from the University of Chicago — in ethnomusicology.

From the time I was 16 years old, I was absolutely sure I knew my path.

What I discovered as an adult was I was on the right path, but it did not go where I thought it went.

Instead, I was on a healing journey, away from academia and to coaching & healing.

As a former university professor, I believe in education and training. So when I changed careers, I became a certified life coach and a certified Heart Metta™ and SWEET™ practitioner. I am constantly upgrading my skills in coaching and healing.

Everything I learned along the way, in my training and earlier in my 20+ years of research and fieldwork, informs my work.

And now I guide others on their healing journeys.

Celia

Who will you become?

Imagine who you are meant to me, and then multiple it exponentially.

A few random facts about me…

  • I am a native Texan and a new Canadian, and was married to a new Canadian.

  • I am recently widowed. My husband died of ALS.

  • I have 3 boys & a red standard poodle named Chile.

  • Even though I haven’t been a serious pianist since 1993, I’m still a musician. I also play drum and Native American flute. Most of my songcatching is vocal.

  • I love reading and writing and learning new things (and chocolate).

  • I completed my BA (Honors) in 2 years and 9 months. I double majored in ethnomusicology & English.
